Executive Chef Alan Gosker
Executive Chef Alan Gosker is a native of Ireland’s culinary capital—Galway—on the Atlantic Coast. He spent five years training across France, Germany, Holland and Australia. After completing his culinary degree, Alan returned to Ireland and enjoyed success as the Chef of the farm-to-fork restaurant Dela. There he married his international experiences with progressive modern Irish cuisine.
In 2015, Alan co-founded the non-profit One World Tapestry, empowering asylum seekers in Ireland by creating space for people to come together through food. Alan has been a Nevada County resident since 2017 and on arrival worked locally with the acclaimed Polly’s Paladar Supperclub.
He joined The National Exchange Hotel as the Executive Sous Chef during its recent remodel, later becoming Chef de Cuisine and then Executive Chef in April 2023. Alan is thrilled to bring his extensive and worldwide culinary knowledge to the beautiful Lola Dining space.
